Liyue Harbour? [ sorry he probably/definitely buchered the pronunciation there. ] … Closest I can think of’s Brilehaven, but it’s miles bigger than this little thing.
[ if the mods surprise us with 15 weeks, i'll put in a murder proposal for you immediately snow, i promise. ]
Not the biggest settlement, pretty sure that's Grand Trad-- but kinda similar? It's a tradin' port, largest one Euchronia's got. It's got a Coliseum too, if you're into that sorta thing.
[ please we can take each other the fuck out becks ]
Mm, some would be. The nation of Natlan has something similar, if I remember correctly, although it is more of a celebratory proving grounds for their warriors.
[ countdown to dan being part of tutorial i don't trust lisa after all these shenanigans. ]
Really? [ he does sound interested, between both the islands and the runner. ] We do have a few places that are aloft, in Teyvat, but they're known - results of phenomena or the error of people playing with things that they shouldn't. Not so unreachable as needing...
[ would lisa do that to us? become tutorial after causing chaos? would she do that to us? (yes) ]
Shite, I think Neuras or one of the others gave some kind of explanation but I’ll be damned if I remember all of it. It was pretty cool though. Saw a few things like that while travellin’.
For goin’ long distances, yeah. Some of them are huge, but normally you can live on them as well as travel around.
[ yes, yes she would. i don't trust anyone right now though. ]
Fascinating. We have caravans and the like, and I've heard that Fontaine and Natlan both have aircrafts that can go short distances - but it's been so long since I stepped out of Liyue, let alone headed west for those nations, that I couldn't say for certain how they're powered.
How fortunate that you and your companions could use this gauntlet runner of yours to see the world.
[ when there isn't a surprise extra profile or two, we immediately go BETRAYAL AWAITS ]
Somethin' you could do when you get back, yeah? [ hmmm. ] Things are pretty similar across the board in Euchronia. Grand Trad might have more cash and stuff happenin', Altabury's the seat of the Church and Brilehaven's got sea farin' and boats. But it's all on the same level, mostly.
[ hmm. ]
Yeah. It's not the most comfortable-- or the second one I went on's not, but I like it more than the other one I used.
Possibly. It depends on the events that I return to. [ sometimes you're from (redacted) and are deeply worried about a whole city. ] Teyvat is... quite varied, truthfully. Fontaine is our most advanced overall, I believe, but they use the strength of water to power many things. Sumeru is certainly no slouch as a nation, however - they're lead by their Akademiya, filled to the brim with scholars of great capability.
Water to power things? How's that work? [ please tell basilio how to harness the power of water so he can forget and never share this wisdom with will. ] Somewhere like Brilehaven'd be able to use somethin' like that.
Are you familiar with watermills? It's the same concept, but turning that into energy to power things, rather than only being used as a mill for grains and the like. The water runs through the wheel and keeps it in perpetual motion, allowing it to be a constant, renewable power source so long as the water continues to run.
[ basilio, two hours later: whassit? ]
Good company can make even the most cramped spaces better, although I'm sure you also were relieved to be able to make stops, with all of you possibly living atop each other.

Stoppin’ and takin’ it all in’s important too.
[ huh. ]

at least he doesn't take offense to the mispronunciation. plenty of time. ]
The largest settlement of the nation of Liyue, a city of commerce. What is Brilehaven like?

And where do you come from, in Euchronia?

[ snow ... snow help. snow. snow. aaaaaaaaa. ]
Recently? Been movin' around a lot.

[ smashcut to today and two toddlers fistfighting.
but look, ok, i'm sorry! ]
You've had the chance to see much of the world, then. That's a wonderful experience.

[ looks sideways at the toddlers fighting. yeah! where's that coliseum. ]
Eye openin'. There was still a bunch I'd never seen before, only came across it all recently.

Anything that stands out the most to you? The first thing that you would think of.

There were these, like... islands? Jus' floatin' in the sky. We only found 'em because we got the gauntlet runner skyward too.
Somethin' wild 'bout that. Imagine just... havin' a whole place up in the sky and no one knows it's even there.

A gauntlet runner? A vehicle, of some sort?

[ imagine brilehaven just harnessing the power of all that water ]
Aye, it was pretty cramped. An' the sleepin' situation weren't great for me specifically. But it was nice.

[ brilehaven would be even MORE powerful, it would be too much for them. ]
I can imagine. It's been some time since I shared small quarters like that with a group, but the comraderie is grounding.

[ brilehaven would be the new capital. honestly it should be, it's prettier. ]
Yeah. It was kinda nice after everythin'. But the beds were reaaally narrow.
