Fascinating. We have caravans and the like, and I've heard that Fontaine and Natlan both have aircrafts that can go short distances - but it's been so long since I stepped out of Liyue, let alone headed west for those nations, that I couldn't say for certain how they're powered.

Fontaine is our most advanced overall, I believe, but they use the strength of water to power many things. Sumeru is certainly no slouch as a nation, however - they're lead by their Akademiya, filled to the brim with scholars of great capability.

Are you familiar with watermills? It's the same concept, but turning that into energy to power things, rather than only being used as a mill for grains and the like. The water runs through the wheel and keeps it in perpetual motion, allowing it to be a constant, renewable power source so long as the water continues to run.
