Even if we can predict this can happen again, we probably won't be able to tell where. And we're pretty spread out by the time we get locked in somewhere. Setting traps for any potential culprit would be difficult...
Thus far, at least, it seems to be that they only trek through the newer areas that we've gotten every week.
A suggestion was made to gather in one place, come Thursday, as opposed to spreading out, but I know that there will be many who are reluctant due to the crowded element of the idea.
That's not without its drawbacks. That presents more danger to those sleeping, and if the culprit is aware of the traps, it's possible they'd try to circumvent them. Or worse, someone sets one off while trying to flee and gets caught. Easy target for any potential killer. Either that, or they could set traps off on purpose to lead us in the wrong direction, I suppose.
I still haven't any idea of how our group in the Whoville market came to have sore stomachs, waking up on Friday. [ it was a large group where a lot of commotion happened, and it wasn't like they were lined up. ] But the large groups so far haven't suffered as a whole beyond that...
Still, all good points that we must take into consideration. It wouldn't do well to spread word of what the traps are or where they would be placed, but it wouldn't bode well for the afflicted's chosen victim to get caught in something meant to slow their attacker down.
