Did you really care to free him? Or was it simply a convenience of winning the battle?
zhongli is getting used to seeing this memory in particular, along with a few others. the world insists upon making him relive the archon war in spades, it seems, but... that's alright. ]
He deserved freedom. Still does, now, nearly 3000 years later, where he is still living his life as he sees fit. It is not something I would go back and change, save to do it sooner.
