Both, perhaps. I saw the lanterns myself, during the war, but now I see them as a resident and not a warrior. [ bittersweet to have those losses, but sweet nostalgia for those that were lost. ]

It's good to see them as a sign of peacetime and remembrance, celebration, nowadays. And the main festivities take place on Liyue Harbor, so the sky becomes a mirror of lanterns - it's magnificent.
